The TAHD follows
up on certain reportable diseases. Our goal is to protect the public and
prevent epidemics by working to control the spread of infectious diseases
such as meningitis and tuberculosis (TB). Educational fact sheets are
available from the TAHD and Connecticut
Department of Public Health. Statistics are gathered to monitor the
health of our community. Health Education information on a variety of
topic is also offered.
