Day Care Centers
Day care centers are inspected prior to opening and every two years thereafter to ensure compliance with the Connecticut Department of Public Health, Section 19a-79-1a thru 13. Inspections focus on safety, cleaniness, equipment and proper food service. Complaints concerning the operation or condition of a day care facility should be called in to TAHD at 860-489-0436 or to the Connecticut Department of Public Health at 860-509-8045.
