Summer’s here at last! Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer- yet nearly all skin cancers can be prevented by limiting unprotected exposure to the sun and cured if detected early.

• Apply a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher every morning.

• Wear a sun block, reapplying every two hours while outdoors.

• A change in a mole’s size, shape or color is a sign to see your doctor.

• Remember, the chance of developing melanoma increases with age.
