Residents should be aware on the "Silent Killer" during winter weather
The CT Department of Public Health has warned residents about the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning associated with malfunctioning heating systems, blocked chimneys, vehicle exhaust and the improper use of portable gasoline-powered generators. They also stress the importance of installing CO detectors to prevent accidental poisonings.
